Tungsten Carbide Rolls have been mostly used in finishing mills, yet the expectation of performance satisfying high productivity and quality improvements in different sections of the mill are demanded by users. Furthermore, their interest of extending its application to the intermediate mill is increasing. In order to apply Tungsten Carbide Rolls (high wear-resistance, but weak impact and heat resistance) to the mill under the condition of low-speed and high–torque, Teagutec has developed an adequate grade for the roll and designed composite rolls with a special mechanism. The main aims to this topic are to introduce productivity & efficiency of our Tungsten Carbide Composite Rolls to be applied at the intermediate mills of low-speed and high-torque.
