As the development of materials, it has been realized that some gaseous elements and rare earth elements play very important role in the metallic materials, and the microstructure significantly affects the performance of metallic materials. Therefore, the demands for new and effective metallic materials testing technology are continually increasing. NCS Testing Technology Co., LTD has been committing itself to developing new technology related to these demands. This paper introduced several new technology and their applications we developed in the metallic materials testing field, including:1) OPA(Original Position Statistic Distribution Analysis), which is capable to conduct quantitative analysis of element and inclusion, as well as their statistic distribution on large area；2) O, H, N, He, Ar simultaneous analysis based on TOF-MS；3) Quick rare earth elements determination technique based on combination of XRF and unique software; and 4)EMAT (Electromagnetic Acoustic guided-wave Testing) for on line the running railroad wheels testing.
