Improving Pre-Heating Process in No.3 RCM Furnace of CSC

3RCM is so called reversing cold rolling mill and dedicated to producing high-grade electrical steel (ES). High ductile-to-brittle transition temperature of high silicon content ES is apt to suffer brittle fracture while being rolled at room temperature. Therefore, it’s necessary for coils to be processed with pre-heating treatment beforehand. 3RCM is equipped with a pre-heating furnacefor high-grade ES. However, longer pre-heating time and poor inside coil lap temperature uniformity become the bottleneck of production.
