Category - General Novel
Revamping of existing cold rolling mills for steel and non-ferrous metal strips is an important device for increasing the productivity and quality of the finished rolled strips as well as expanding the possible product range. Typical revamping measures include increasing the rolling speed, implementing highly efficient changing devices for work and intermediate rolls as well as installing strip thickness and flatness control devices including dry strip systems. Revamping of existing lines can be a very attractive alternative to a new rolling mill.
